Rowing Club Membership

Rowing club: intermediate and advanced

Sessions: Caldecotte North Lake – run no matter what the weather conditions; predominantly on the lake however, if it is unsuitable for outdoor training sessions move indoors. 

Regular sessions are:

Sundays - 08:00-10:00; 10:00-12:00; 12:00-14:00

Mondays - 17.00 - 20.00 in one hour training slots, indoor training only with ergo testing

Tuesdays and Thursdays - 18:00 - 20:00

Saturday training will start up soon for members with increased water training available. Dates to be confirmed soon.

Training takes place all year round.

Please remember to bring suitable and sufficient clothing (flexible and layers) for the conditions as well as varied activities. Also remember to bring along a complete change of dry clothing and a towel as you may end up in the water on some occasions and stuff to have a shower.

Unisuits and kit can be purchased for training and competition wear through the adult rowing club…information is distributed direct to the rowing club from Caldecotte Xperience.

Costs: Annual membership fee: £50 entitles you to the full use of our rowing programme and club involvement in inter-club activities/competitions. Monthly fees: £35 payable by standing order covers attendance at any of the training sessions held each week.

Additional requirements: all full members must register with British Rowing through the British Rowing website in order to compete and receive coaching from the British Rowing coach attached to the club. Also entitles you to a monthly magazine and online training tips. Please provide your British rowing number to the head coach.
